fitness training

Fitting training into a busy lifestyle can be challenging, but it’s definitely possible with some careful planning and dedication. Here are some tips to help you get started:

  • Prioritise your workouts: Make exercise a priority by scheduling it into your day or week. Treat it like any other important appointment or task and commit to it.

  • Find a workout that works for you: Choose a workout that you enjoy and fits your lifestyle. This could be anything from running, to yoga, to resistance training,  I would recommend our Healthy, Toned & Strong program here at BCA Fitness (Shameless plug I know lol).

  • Make it convenient: Choose a training environment  that is close to your home or work, so that you don’t have to spend too much time travelling to and from your workouts. Here at BCA our members live or work no more than 15/20 minutes from us which makes it easy for them to fit it into weekly routine to train 2-4 times a week.

  • Utilise your lunch break: Consider using your lunch break to get in a quick workout. This can help you save time and make your workout more convenient.

  • Incorporate movement into your day: Even if you don’t have time for a full workout, try to incorporate movement into your day. Take the stairs instead of the elevator, walk or bike to work instead of driving, or do some stretches while watching TV. If you are working at home a lot more now you can even do a 10/15 minutes walk or cycle around your local area in Cambridge as your commute.

  • Stay accountable: Find a workout buddy or join a fitness community, again like us here at BCA Fitness to help keep you accountable and motivated.

Remember, consistency is key.

Even if you can only fit in a short workout a few times a week, it’s better than nothing. Just keep at it and you’ll see progress over time.
