Mental Health Awareness Week


Looking after your mental and physical health is important for your overall well-being. Your mental health affects how you think, feel, and behave, while your physical health affects your body’s ability to function properly.

​​The key to remember is that both your mental and physical health are interlinked and they an impact on each other.

​​Here are some reasons why it’s important to take care of both:

Mental Health:

  • Improved mood: Taking care of your mental health can help improve your mood and reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression.
  • Better relationships: When you’re in a good mental state, you’re more likely to have positive and fulfilling relationships with others.
  • Increased productivity: Good mental health can help you stay focused and motivated, leading to increased productivity in your personal and professional life.

Physical Health:

  • Improved physical function: Taking care of your physical health can help improve your body’s ability to function properly, reducing the risk of chronic diseases and conditions.

Here a few ways you can improve your mental and physical health, eating a  healthy diet, getting regular exercise, practicing stress-reduction techniques like meditation or yoga, socialising with friends and family and a bigger for me which is the elephant in the room is working with a coach on your physical and/or your mental to help overcome your challenges.
